Farm Living Archive is a collection of drawings and definitions made by Malte at the age of five. The book brings together his original drawings and handwriting, preserving the directness and spontaneity of his early way of seeing and describing the world. Rather than presenting a conventional account of farm life, the book becomes a small personal archive: a record of animals, objects, places, and ideas as imagined and understood by a five-year-old. His drawings and words come together to create a portrait of the farm shaped entirely by his own perspective. The book preserves the original character of these materials, allowing the images and definitions to speak for themselves. Farm Living Archive is, ultimately, a document of childhood observation and imagination—a small archive of a farm as seen, understood, and drawn by a five-year-old.
